As a registered patent attorney with an LL.M. in agricultural law, he focuses on protecting agricultural seed technology. He works with universities and international companies to ensure intellectual property protection, and he has handled over 100 cases related to the Plant Variety Protection Act, showing his dedication to protecting plant breeders' rights. Mark has also taught agricultural biotechnology law in the LL.M. program at the University of Arkansas School of Law.

When complex disputes with Walmart arise, he helps large and small vendors navigate their transactions. Mark’s litigation experience covers many cases, including patent, copyright, trademark, trade secrets, non-competition agreements, corporate dissolutions, business and insurance contracts, and education law.

He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Eighth and Federal Circuits, U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the District Courts of Nebraska, the District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the Arkansas Supreme Court. He also handles trademark cases before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
